When a player is on tilt they are basically planning on losing the tournament! A good player will prey on this weakness and typically add those chips to his or her stack. Using this type of aggressive play can be to your advantage. Tilt players are making a last desperate attempt to build their stack but most times it cost them the game.

Most poker players seldom expect a player on tilt is faking their hand. Usually it is believed that the chips they are going to risk isn't worth the power play. But this is where you as a player can trap your opponents. When you are the short stack players are just waiting to jump on your every move. If you properly play this fake tilt you can put your opponents on tilt as well.

Although a risky strategy it is one that can pay off big time if you play your cards right especially if you are sitting at a table of cocky players who believe you are weak.

Don't try this strategy often but it is one of many strategies used by the Pro's to get to the final tables in large tournaments. Play a tight game might appear to be the way to win more often then not but this is definitely not the case when playing against seasoned players who keep their opponents guessing.
